This page lists everything hqaviation.com stores on your device, what each item is for, and how long it lasts. Some of it is needed to make the site work at all. The rest only happens if you say yes.

What we do before you choose

Until you accept, we set nothing on your device except the strictly necessary items in the first table below. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no session recording. If you decline, that stays true permanently.

We do count anonymous page views while you browse, with no identifier attached and nothing stored on your device, so we can tell how busy the site is. That cannot be linked back to you or to any later visit.

Strictly necessary

These run without asking, because the site cannot do what you asked of it otherwise: remember your basket, keep your enquiry attached to you, show prices in your currency, or remember that you declined.

Cookies set by other companies

If you accept, these companies set cookies through our site and become recipients of the data described. Stripe is the exception: its two cookies are set only when you reach the payment step, and are necessary to take a card payment safely.

Blocking cookies in your browser

Declining here is enough. You do not need to do anything else. If you would rather control it at the browser level, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the strictly necessary items will stop baskets and enquiry forms working.
