How to configure and order a Robinson
Pick a model and variant
Choose the R22, R44 or R66 above, then the variant you want. Robinson’s configurator opens below with that helicopter loaded.
Configure it
Work through paint and trim colours, interior, optional equipment and accessories. Use Full screen to give it the whole screen.
Save it as a PDF
Press Done at the top right of the configurator, then Download PDF. The configurator does not keep your choices once you leave, so the PDF is your copy.
Send it to us
Send us an enquiry with the model and anything you chose. We check the specification with you and come back with a quote.
We order it from Robinson
HQ Aviation places new orders direct with Robinson in Torrance, California, and can look after the aircraft at our CAA Part-145 facility at Denham once it arrives.

R44 configurator
Four-seat piston helicopter for touring, training and work.
- Raven I. The affordable four-seat classic: carburetted Lycoming O-540 and hydraulic controls.
- Raven II. Fuel-injected Lycoming IO-540 and wider rotor blades: faster, higher, and the most-ordered R44.
- Cadet. Two seats and a rear cargo area, a derated engine and a 2,400-hour TBO, built around flight-school economics.
- Clipper II Pop-Out. A Raven II with pop-out emergency floats for coastal and over-water flying.
- Clipper II Fixed. A Raven II on permanent utility floats, built to operate from water.
R66 configurator
Five-seat turbine helicopter with the Rolls-Royce RR300.
- NxG Palo Verde. The five-seat R66 NxG with upgraded interior finishes and modern avionics.
- NxG Southwood. Feature-filled as standard: Garmin glass cockpit, GTN 635Xi and a 2-axis autopilot.
- NxG Riviera. The fully loaded limited edition with its own interior. Robinson lists it as no longer available for order; its configurator is still live.
- NxG Police. Fully outfitted for law enforcement. Configure the base R66; the police package is added at order.
- Military Trainer. The R66 as a military training platform. Configure the base R66; the trainer package is added at order.
The R88 is not in Robinson’s configurator yet. Register interest in the R88.

What is the Robinson configurator?
Robinson Helicopter Company’s own online tool for specifying a new R22, R44 or R66: paint and trim colours, interior, optional equipment and accessories. We embed it here so you can try every model and variant in one place.
Can I save my configuration?
Yes, as a PDF. Press Done at the top right of the configurator, then Download PDF. The configurator does not keep your choices after you leave, so download the PDF before you close the page. This page remembers which model and variant you last opened.
Are the prices in the configurator what I will pay?
They are Robinson’s own list prices in US dollars. What you pay depends on the final specification, the exchange rate and delivery, so send us your configuration and we will come back with a quote.
Why do the R66 Police and Military Trainer open the Palo Verde?
Robinson’s configurator only has the Palo Verde, Southwood and Riviera R66. The Police and Military Trainer packages are built on the base R66, so you configure that and the package is added when the order is placed.
Is the R88 in the configurator?
Not yet. Robinson has not published a configurator for the R88. You can register interest on our R88 page.
